- low season (April, May, June, September, October) 9am to 8pm
weekdays and 8am to 8pm weekends. - in high season (July, August) from 8am to 11am, then from 4pm to 7pm

We’re here to advise you on the hidden treasures of our region, to make your stay unforgettable. We organize “pots d’accueil” several times a week to meet our partners. Every day, we offer an off-site reception to advise you and share the best tips for discovering the Gorges du Verdon.
A grocery store proud of Provence’s local produce
On the campsite, you’ll find a well-stocked store open from 01/05/2024 to 22/09/2024 (8am to 12:30pm and 3:30pm to 7:30pm) and in low season (8am to 11am then 4pm to 7pm).
Lou offers everything you need for snacks, picnics, snacks, dinners, meals and even a treat for yourself. Every morning, Castellane’s baker delivers fresh bread and pastries. In season, we also stock fruit, vegetables and fresh produce. Make the most of your visit to discover and/or share local Verdon produce selected by local enthusiasts. Our shelves also feature a fine selection of organic and fair-trade products.
The store accepts cash, cheques and credit cards (minimum €15).
A snack bar
The independently managed restaurant/snack bar is only open in high season.
You can enjoy pizzas, fries, takeaways and traditional cuisine on site or to take away.

Relaxation and conviviality in the Gorges du Verdon
At Chasteuil Verdon Provence, we’re proud to continue the tradition of camping accommodation: a social, friendly way to relax and (re)meet in the great outdoors. Next to the pétanque court – because one can’t go without the other – you’ll find picnic tables and a communal barbecue area available from 11am to 10pm.
You can use electric barbecues on your pitch. Gas barbecues are tolerated. Charcoal barbecues or fires are strictly forbidden in the Verdon Regional Nature Park.
Practical: laundry and equipment for hire
For added convenience, we offer rental of 100-liter refrigerators (reservation strongly recommended) and gas barbecues. Our laundry room is equipped with washing machines and dryers (tokens on sale in the store). Need to prepare an outfit for a special occasion? We also provide an iron and ironing board. Take advantage of our services to make your stay at our campsite in the heart of the Gorges du Verdon as practical as it is pleasant.
Travel with your pet
At our campsite in the Gorges du Verdon, your four-legged companions are welcome (except dogs in 1ʳᵉ and 2ᵉ categories, which we cannot accept). For us, pets are an integral part of the family. We firmly believe that their presence contributes to the friendly atmosphere of our site and helps prevent abandonment. Come and enjoy a vacation in harmony with your faithful friends, where their well-being is as important as your own.

Motorhome travel ? Drainage area at the campsite
If you’re traveling by motorhome to Castellane, amenities are essential for a carefree stay. Our campsite offers a complete dumping area reserved for our campers.
It receives both grey and black water, and can be refilled with drinking water. Take advantage of our well-equipped infrastructure to ensure the comfort of your stay in complete tranquillity.
Unauthorized camping is strictly forbidden in the Gorges du Verdon.
Because of the fragility of this exceptional natural environment, it is necessary to respect the rules established to preserve the beauty and integrity of the region.
By staying at regulated campsites and following official guidelines, you are helping to preserve this emblematic site for future generations.
Sanitary facilities for all and special cabins for families
Our sanitary facilities include hot water, sinks, washbasins, showers, toilets, family-friendly showers and baby baths. Special cabins are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Our sanitary facilities are cleaned four times a day during the season. As part of our commitment to the environment, domestic hot water is produced by solar panels.
We now also offer pitches with private sanitary facilities. These pitches are located in the Centre zone.
